Majorcool - Run Configure?!

#1 Post by Majorcool »

Hi!.:)

I'm installing Majorcool on my Debian Sarge server.

I'm at that point where i have to run the Configuration script, by writing the command ./Configure, but when i does that, i just get the message: bad interpreter: No such file or directory..

Whole my command is: is1:~/majorcool# ./Configure

And yes, /root/majorcool/Configure should exist..:)

It might be a stupid question, but i hope someone can help a Linux-n00b.

Unlike Windows, unix is case-sensitive.
./configure

Ok, non-typical use of the word "configure." With respect to this installation process, ./Configure with a capital C is the correct command. The script started stepping me through a series of questions, so maybe there is one of more necesary files missing from your computer.

Since I know nothing about Majodomo/Majorcool, I'm going to back out of this thread, and let's hope that someone who does know these applications jumps in. If that doesn't happen, then follow Majorcool's suggestion to post to the Majordomo mailing list.
