Hey i have problem with rebooting/shutting down Debian Jessie. Im using systemd.
Problem looks like this.
I start system and immediately reboot -> everything ok.
I start system and reboot after few houers -> system stops shutting down and waits around 2 minutes between
[ OK ] Removed slice user-109.slice.
--------waaaaait for it 2 minutes-------------
[ OK ] Removed slice user-1000.slice.
Sometimes in opposite order. Any idea what that could be?
I checked logs but found nothing about hanging deamons or something.

Jessie "freezes" during reboot/shutdown
Re: Jessie "freezes" during reboot/shutdown
I tried to put systemd on debug log, but found nothing interesting (may be just blind) and set ShutdownWatchdogSec to 15 sec, but its hard to test it if it does only after running for few hours.
cat /etc/systemd/system.conf

Re: Jessie "freezes" during reboot/shutdown
It is very similar to this issue, which seem to be still (after a year ??) unresolved.

I tried this http://freedesktop.org/wiki/Software/sy ... /#index2h1 , but no log ever appeared.

Welcome to the future, where Linux is mostly just Windows misspelled.
Re: Jessie "freezes" during reboot/shutdown
Your best bet is to file a bug report to both Debian and upstream Systemd, because it is both of their problems now as to how Systemd will work or not work in Jessie+ and they will be forced to deal with the fallout going forward.

Re: Jessie "freezes" during reboot/shutdown
I'm also having shutdown problems with systemd, but I'm using sid. I poweroff, the screen turns off but the cpu fan is still running and it never turns off. I end up rebooting and then powering off from lightdm and it works, so I'm not sure what it is, but I'm pretty sure it has to do with systemd or maybe the last kernel update...
