Debian Jessie is running too fast !

#1 Post by Gallo »

Hello,

I am facing a really weird problem i have never encountered for 15 years using Linux !

I am using a 32 bits Debian Jessie under Openbox on an Intel Atom Quad Core machine. Everything is speeding up every 15 or 20 seconds ! I mean everything is running at overspeed : videos plays 3 or 4 times their speed, htop refreshing is overspeeding, terminal typing is really sensitive etc...

Everything is normal for 5 seconds or so, and the increases and returns back to normal every 15 seconds approximatively.

CPU is increasing then decreasing. But it seems it is only the CPU boosting its frequency because CPU load stays the same on HTOP. So there is no app overcharging the CPU ressource, only the CPU cycles goind crazy !

Th only thing i did is upgrading the xserver-xorg-video-intel from jessie to backports.

Any idea on this !?
