Problem with dsl connection

#1 Post by CapitalA »

I have installed Debian jessie on my Vostro 3350 laptop and I have the following problem with my dsl connection:
after installing debian I didn't find any option in "Network" for creating a dsl connection. finally I created a dsl connection from "Network tools" , with opening the "configure" on "eth0" interface and adding a dsl connection. the connection is available now. but when I click on it, just for a moment it tries to connect and disconnects quickly.

Does anyone know what should I do to solve the problem?

I am not using wifi. I have to connect to dsl modem through a wired network. And also, I've read debian's wiki page about network. Didn't help!
