Debian stretch / Gnome 3.22 - Changing icons

#1 Post by pawRoot »

Hi

I am trying to change my system icons, i have installed these:

https://github.com/horst3180/arc-icon-theme

Then select them in Tweak tool, and they changed inside nautilus, but in the dash/dock i still have the default ones, any idea how to change it?

One of the icon packs i downloaded actually works properly, so i guess other might be not compatible with 3.22

from the link you provided
Requirements

This theme doesn't provide application icons, it needs another icon theme to inherit them. By default this theme will look for the Moka icon theme to get the missing icons. If Moka is not installed it will use the Gnome icon theme as fallback. To change the application icons, edit Arc/index.theme and replace Moka with the name of your preferred icon theme
