Rufus on wine: it doesn't read USB drive

#1 Post by autoprog »

Hi everybody,

I'm trying to run rufus on wine but it doesn't read my pen drive also if wine sees the drive.
What can I do to make it work as in true Windows?

Thanks ;)

Rather than fighting with Wine, have you tried Etcher from etcher.io to see if it can fit your requirements?

Install windows on a VM, or just use Windows.

What are you using Rufus for? To write an iso to a usb drive?
