iPhone does not show up in Rhythmbox, lockdown error (-3)

#1 Post by king.oslo »

Hello there. I am on Debian GNU/Linux testing (stretch). The phone is iPhone SE (ios 10). I followed this guide to connect iPhone: https://wiki.debian.org/iPhone however I am not able to sync my phone in rhythbox.

Whilst following the guide, I was asked to connect the phone by the USB cable. It not mount the phone possibly no automount daemon, so I installed a *.sh mount script. The iphone showed up in the devices list in the file manager, however the ~.gvfs/ was still empty and when I click on "Documents on iPhone" in the list of devices in the file manager, I got the "lockdown error (-3)". The device does not show up in Rhythmbox or Gtkpod program. I followed this guide a guide to idevicepair unpair && idevicepair pair: http://www.upubuntu.com/2012/02/fix-unh ... -when.html. This did not help. I also tried the sudo chmod 777 /var/lib/lockdown. This did not help.

What do you reckon I can do?
