gnote applet disappeared after debian update to Stretch

#1 Post by g1annos »

In my previous Debian Stable installation I had an entry manually added to strartup applications. The command was gnote -systray, so that the gnote applet was by default loaded on my panel. After Debian update to the new Stable, that doesn't work, and it opens a full gnote window in each login. In command line, neither gnote -systray, nor gnote --start-minimized works. Is that a bug concerning Debian, xfce4, gtk3??? Any ideas would be appreciated.

Code: Select all

~$ gsettings list-recursively | grep use-status-icon
org.gnome.gnote use-status-icon true
