In Firefox 55 when I print a page the Date/Time in the footer is always 1/1/70. The hour varies but the date never changes. F12 + Date() however always gives the correct time. I downloaded Firefox directly from mozilla.org.
renaming the old profile folder and letting Firefox create a new fresh one
disabling add-ons
downloading Firefox again
using a different system, with Firefox also downloaded from mozilla.org
What fixes the time:
installing firefox-esr from Debian's repositories and using it to print a page
using TOR browser to print a page
I'm asking here because I suspect this has more to do with the underlying system than with the browser itself. How do I fix the time in the browser downloaded from mozilla.org?
