Boot troubleshooting

#1 Post by exgame »

Hello,
I do have Debian 8, while booting the OS I receive over 100K notifications, already tried every solution on Google. Boot process takes up to 3-5 minutes with SSD. Only one solution helped me a bit is
[Service]
TimeoutStartSec=15
but then I receive massive logs with same error. It takes up to 100% CPU usage.

sorry, this isn't good enough.
you have to show us what you did, how exactly it failed, and some general info about your system.
you don't even tell us which service file you edited, and where you got the notion that it would help.

also, is your system usable in the end, or are there other problems?

Sorry about that, I was irritated by the problem. Head_on_the_Stick solution solved my problem for now. I guess, we can close this.
Thank you a lot for helping me.

it's a little medieval but it can provide a final solution to a lot of things!
