I've just tried that one and other mirrors. And now it cant find any packages.

And now it seems that there are no cd images on the page linked on

Looks like the port might be taken down. Cant find any more info on the sparc64 port other then on the wiki

Why don't you ask on the mailing list:
Some of you may have noticed that the existing sparc64 porterbox,[0], has been unavailable for the past few months. As a
result, we have commissioned a new porterbox,[1], kindly
hosted by Anatoly Pugachev, available to all DDs.

The machine is set up to closely mirror many aspects of the standard Debian
porterboxes, so you can use the usual dd-schroot-cmd workflow as described on
the Debian website[2].

Please note that this machine should be used to debug issues, and not to
perform binary uploads to the debian-ports archive in place of the build
daemons. The debian-ports archive has its own independent restricted keyring
and so any attempted uploads will be rejected.

If you have any issues or questions, please feel free to contact myself or
cbmuser on IRC (we dwell in #debian-ports), or via mail as listed in [1].

Thanks for your future porting efforts!

Maybe because you have not tried searching for any ?
Where can I find out more information?

The best place to ask Debian-specific questions about the SPARC port is on the mailing list, <>. Mailing list archives are browsable on the web.

To subscribe to the list, send a mail to, with the word `subscribe' in the subject line, and no body. Alternatively, subscribe on the web with the Mailing List subscription page.

Kernel questions should be addressed to the list <>. Subscribe by sending a message with body "subscribe sparclinux" to the address There is also a Red Hat list, of course.

This is a very small list of Linux SPARC (a.k.a. "S/Linux") links:
"What we expect you have already Done"

Before doing anything, read the Debian documentation:
