Installing Debian on Mini PC

#1 Post by pawRoot »

Hi

My uncle bought a mini PC (THIS ONE) and it comes with Windows 10 which we obviously want to get rid off.
I tried booting Debian from USB but it doesn't work (nothing happens), then i found this:
Because the CPU of AP42 is N4200, he can not boot Linux system directly through UEFI. You need to add boot system rEFind. We are working hard to modify AP42 EFI file, if there is any change, it will be announced immediately. If you have any solution The way you are very welcome to share, thank you very much.
Here they give instructions and download files for Ubuntu (http://www.kodlix.com/601/) , but i don't want Ubuntu.
Brand KODLIX
Intel Apollo Lake N3450
Intel HD Graphics 500
I have never used rEFind before, would this be possible to somehow install Debian?
