[SOLVED] How to get window title ?

Hi

I need to know window titles from some Steam games, so i can open them on different workspaces in i3wm.
The problem is that i can't use xprop, because when i run a game, it will be active window and i can't switch to xprop.

Any ideas ?

i don't understand.
read the xprop man page. i think you haven't considered all options.
there's also similar tools like xwininfo etc.
