Running the script before every update in Debian?

#1 Post by SamuelAd »

I am just trying to do this because I want the system to independently take snapshots on the btrfs file system before every system update.
I tried to do this with DPkg :: Pre-Invoke, APT :: Upgrade :: Pre-Invoke ... and it works like apt upgrade, uses dpkg -i, or apt install, etc.

Unfortunately, when this is done using Upper in KDE, the script is no longer running.
I thought that e Debian uses the same APT system ... But apparently not.
I also thought I would be able to harness this system, but I have no idea about it ...

Maybe some of you tell me something? Thank you in advance.
