System randomly freezes

#1 Post by BBmine »

The computer has a Windows 10/Debian Testing dual boot. Windows was last updated a week or 2 ago, and Debian was updated today. The random freezing started about a week ago. The freezing only happens on Debian. When it freezes, everything completely stands still, except the sound, which endlessly repeats the last second. I have to hold down on the power button to turn off the computer.

Here is the system info:

what's in the systemd logs?
after it happens, after rebooting, look at

Code: Select all

journalctl -b -0
please share only the relevant parts of the log (timestamp).
