Sorry, I missed this before. So, you suggest to enter these lines in Terminal when I get the reply that the Firefox esr has been taken back when trying to update&upgrade?

So, you think this is a better solution than to install FF Quantum from Sid repos, according to instructions I mentioned in my previous post?

Here, just for the sake of the argument:

did the trick. Now I proudly use Firefox-esr 60.2, and everything seems fine. Previously I tried to follow the instruction from https://libre-software.net/how-to-insta ... inux-mint/ but it didnt't go well (I simply lost the Firefox, it was impossible to start it). Now it's OK, and I just have to adapt a bit to this new version...
