Since I 've upgraded from Debian Jessie to Debian stretch I am experiencing random hard freezes. More particularly my computer 2-3 times per day is getting freezed and it does not accept any input as well as any ssh session and has to be manually hard-reset. The Kernel crashes are striking when I work and always having firefox (60-esr/62/beta) running.
/var/log/messages, journalctl and .xsession-error not give any helpful information. I am also monitoring cpu usage, temperature and ram usage every 15 seconds but it does not seem that the laptop is stretched in order to strike the kernel crash. There are many times that the Kernel crashed when I using the trackpad. For example, the system is freezing when I am clicking or moving the trackpad
I tried various kernels including the one I am running now 4.18 from backports but none of them solved the problem.
I've tried also so far without luck:
I upgraded the Bios with the latest firmware
I switched off the swap
I disabled apparmor.
Switching from libinput10 to synaptics.
installing graphic drivers for i915 xserver-xorg-video-intel.
I set up coredump and I am booting crashkernel but no catches.
Upgrading systemd packages from backports as well as upgrading individual packages from testing
Creating new profile for Firefox and refreshing browser.
My laptop is Lenovo G50-80 4GB ram 6GB swap using Xfce4.
Thanks for reading this post. I appreciate any help or tip that will drive me to the right direction of solving the issue.
Edit: I also tried running memtest overnight and GSsmart control without giving any errors
