Any way to restore deleted file on a root drive without a reboot?
Stretch install. Non system movie file. Trash can already emptied.
File was deleted a couple weeks ago. Hasn't been rebooted since.
Thanks.

restore deleted file root drive
Re: restore deleted file root drive
many years ago I've recovered jpg files using testdisk, but not the actual jpg's I was looking for.
After 2 weeks chances are reduced considerably, even if you remember the exact name of the file you want.
