apt-mirror stopped working

Postby perazim » 2019-01-28 12:16

Debian 9.6 system. I have four local repositories that I use apt-mirror to keep synced. Most everything has worked well and has been running since the launch of debian 9. Two days ago I ran apt-mirror to update repositories to 9.7 and it stopped with the error:

root@nuc-i3-2:/home/yossi# apt-mirror

gzip: stdin: unexpected end of file

NOTE: It continued on downloading but I killed it here. I have approx 160GB of data and did not want to download it all again.

Checked forums and it was suggested that I delete the skel folder and try again. Did that with same bad results.

Anybody have any ideas how to fix thia?

Thanks,

I didn't see an error? Ah.. grunged file sent to gzip? What did you do ctrl-c it in the middle of the script? There may not be a way to fix it, but I'd check bugs reports https://github.com/apt-mirror/apt-mirror/issues

I only stopped apt-mirror after the first error was posted. Now I ran it again and allowed to run till normal completion. I second similar error was produced. I suspect both of these came during the mail debian repository processing. Here is the output:
