Debian 10.1 : nvidia-settings error

#1 Post by huent999 »

HI,

I have a new install of debian 10.1. I ran nvidia-detect which advised installing nvidia-driver. Thats been done and the machine restarted but when i try to start nvidia-settings I get this error.

'ERROR: Unable to load info from any available system'

My laptop has two graphics devices. I'd like to force the system to always use the nvidia driver (I don't have the option to disable the integrated graphics in my bios)

Thank you
