Debian 10 Upgrading to Gnome 3.3

Postby GonzaloP » 2020-01-14 13:00

Hi,

The actual version of Gnome in Debian 10 is 3.30, I was wondering if it possible to upgrade to Gnome 3.3 without creating conflict in the repositories.

Thanks

Debian (stable) does not work like this, but uses so called "Point Releases", they usually only incorporate security fixes/bugfixes.
The version you're asking is not even in the sid repo yet..

Is there a specific reason why you'd want to upgrade?

I found some bugs in the actual Gnome that is in the repo, I submitted them to Gnome and they said the version is too old, they won't fix it, I have to update...

Could you list these bugs?

Did you also report them at: http://bugs.debian.org/
