Ummmm--you do know you should never be using an old, unsupported Debian to ever go onto the Net, right?

A modern Debian should also run fine on an old laptop, unless you need an abandoned Nvidia driver or something.
The MX Linux repositories: Backports galore! If we don't have something, just ask and we'll try--we like challenges. New packages: Kodi 18.5, Mesa 19.3.3, 5.5 kernels, KeepassXC 2.5.3, Nvidia-driver 440.59, LibreOffice 6.4.1~rc1

hey, whats the problem with using an "old2, unsupported Debian" as long as it functions very well?

Thanks
