I installed debian 10 last week and it booted find from a restart with grub displaying the three lines of boot choices prompt. But now I get upon restart I get:
Minable BASH-like editing is supported
grub >
That is the only way I can boot an OS is to press the delete key upon power up then click on the root menu and select the debian OS then the
normal 3 grub OS chocies come up.
I do not know how to make a new grub boot file.
Any help greatly appreciated

Re: can't get 3 line OS choices on restart
Can we see
The set command from the "grub>" prompt will show you where it's looking for the configuration file (which can't be found, hence the prompt).
Code: Select all
efibootmgr -v
