/home auto open and mount for luks

#1 Post by sickpig »

Dear all,

I have followed https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Dm ... g_at_login to get the luks partition to auto open and mount on user login(user uses that partition as their home). But this doesn't seem to work in Debian.

manual open and mount works flawlessly but auto does not. The user account has the same login password as the luks partition. But I have to first login as root then open luks, mount it, exit as root and then login as the normal user to allow that account to use it as its home. Not convinient.

Can anyone who has managed to achieve the same help me out here? Thanks.
