Hi,
my `~/.profile` is not being loaded.
Is anyone able to assist me to find out why?
I have neither `.bash_profile` or `.bash_login` files in my home directory.
Is this a bug in Debian 10?

Re: .profile not being loaded?
What is your desktop environment and display manager? I don't think LightDM reads ~/.profile, which may be a bug.

Re: .profile not being loaded?
By the way I currently track the testing branch with apt, so this is XFCE 4.14, I believe.

You should say that when asking for help then. Testing is not Debian 10.PlunderingPirate9000 wrote:By the way I currently track the testing branch with apt,...

Re: .profile not being loaded?
Ok I've added the relevant .profile contents to .xsessionrc, presumably this is the anticipated solution?
