when unmounting cifs, shuting down the computer is stuck

If none of the more specific forums is the right place to ask

when unmounting cifs, shuting down the computer is stuck

Thanks!

When I reboot or shutdown my debian computer, it becomes stuck a stop job started. After along time it will shut down but I do not want to wait many minutes.
Is that a way to force this without using REISUB / REISUO?

THis also gets stuck:
sudo shutdown -r now

I am using a vm and I mount a folder using cifs.
Then I unmount. And if I wait several minutes before triggering a shutdown, the computer will shut down immediately.
sudo umount -a -t cifs -l

This unmounting leaves stuff a little dangling.

/etc/fstab entry:
//192.168.XXX.XXX/Users/Me/Desktop/shared /media/vm cifs user=externo,password=xxx,uid=1000,gid=1000,mfsymlinks
sudo mount /media/vm

to unmount:
sudo umount -a -t cifs -l

I have zero experience with SAMBA but the ArchWiki suggests trying a systemd unit: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Sa ... stemd_unit

ok.

I was more looking for a command to ensure the computer shuts down.
REISUO once reseted all boot entries in the BIOS. ANd it was scary not to boot. So I don't use it any more.

Well I was thinking that systemd might be able to manage the shutdown better if the SAMBA shares were under it's direct control.

I do not have the energy to fix systemd for mounting right now since I am more interested in other stuff.
