dpkg problem

Postby Amon » 2020-11-08 20:56

I am trying to install the cuda repo from nvidia's website for cuda 11-1 deb(local) for debian 10. After downloading the deb file, sudo dpkg -i produces:
owner@debian:~/cuda$ sudo dpkg -i cuda-repo-debian10-11-1-local_11.1.1-455.32.00-1_amd64.deb

This install was working earlier in a previous attempt, I uninstalled it, then attempted to reinstall it, but since then I may have accidently deleted something important to dpkg, that part I'm not sure. I would appreciate any help on this issue.

Thank you

That error is due to a corrupted deb file download.
Try again.
