Debian SID w/2.6 kernel from Knoppix 3.4 CD

Everything says my harddrive is full. Looking in all the folders and adding up the numbers I should have more than 2/3 of my drive empty.

I have setiathome, gkrellm running. Surf under JAP and chat w/Xchat.

Any ideas?

I re-booted with 2.4 kernel and I get:

bob@boxone:~$ df
Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on
/dev/hda2 50392164 16286208 31546140 35% /

so I guess there is a problem in SID w/2.6?????????????????????????????

It seems that it is a kernel problem, if you can writ eto the partition with 2.4, and can't with 2.6. What kernel do you use? Do you patched it with anything? What does the logs and/or dmesg say if you boot the 2.6 kernel?
