hello

how do i install the "conventional unix server" on debian 3.1 ?
+ how do i configure it so people can log on it with SSH protocol?

Agreed.

If I recall correctly a fresh Sarge install has SSH installed and running right away. If not, just apt-get install ssh. That sets everything up for you.
