Wireless lan

#1 Post by octet »

Hi,

I've got two debian systems with rt2500 -compatible network adapters, one is pci and the other is pcmcia. The latter actually works on other wlans so i'm suspecting the problem is with the access point. That is a d-link DI-524.

I use RaConfig2500 to set up the cards, and it doesnt find any wlan network or anything when scanning. Also there are no received packets in the acces points log. The drivers I use are from debian-mirrors, version 1.1.0. I use unstable distributions.

Any suggestions are welcome.

What's in your /etc/network/interfaces file?
Grieve not for happy Claudius, he is dead;
And empty is his skull.
Pity no longer, arm-in-arm with Dread,
Walks that polished hall.

Joy, too, is fled.
But no man can have all.
