Has anyone tried bootsplash on Debian Sarge, kernel 2.6 or above? Does it work well in this setting?

I've got a nice debian splash image working with grub, and I'm using the 2.6.10 kernel. But I'm running sid with the .97 version of grub. Not sure if it works with sarge or not. You could try apt-cache search grub-splashimages to see if it's available in the sarge repositories. If it is, just do apt-get install grub-splashimages.
