apt-get error

Postby Guest » 2006-02-21 15:19

I have a problem with apt-get upgrade. My problems concerns xebian, the xbox version on debian which is based on Sarge stable. I've only configured network card to fetch an IP from my gateway machine but other than that it's a fresh install. Yesterday I tried apt-get upgrade and got a bunch of packages to download. All went well until it started preconfiguring packages and that's when I got this error:

Fetched 92.0MB in 4m34s (335kB/s)
Reading changelogs... Done
Preconfiguring packages ...
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg exited unexpectedly

I seem to be getting the error with every package I try to upgrade so I guess I can rule out the possibility of one bad package inside those 92MBs.
And since I've just started my path towards enlightenment I'm not even sure where to start. So I'd appreciate if someone could give me a hint or two...

This is my sources.list. Haven't changed anything after the install.
