Non-free Apt

#1 Post by Guest »

Hi all.

I'm a debian newbie. When I installed Debian, I selected no for non-free software. How do I make it so I can install non-free software. I tried apt-setup but it doesn't ask if you want to install non-free software.

Please help me. Ta.

edit /etc/apt/sources.list file, add "non-free" at the end of the lines, like this:

deb ftp://ftp.us.debian.org/debian testing main contrib non-free
