Making a bootdisk

#1 Post by denise »

During the installation i choose not to make a boot disk but i'm going to experiment on some things and i need a bootdisk just to be on the safe side.

Is it possible to make one now or do i have to install debian again?

The boot (and root) disk images can be found on the Debian install CD. Just simply cat them to a disk.
But if you need the disks only to repair your Linux, then the CD is much better solution, because you can boot that, too, and it is faster, you don't need to change the disks, etc.
