Debian language Problem

I just got my server from the datacenter.
but the server is installed in german.
I've fixed locales for my charsets and such, but i cant figure out how to make it stop acting german.

217-20-115-95:~# df -h
Dateisystem Größe Benut Verf Ben% Eingehängt auf

things like that, man error messages and such are in german too, any way to change that?

problem solved.

in /etc/environment it was LANGUAGE="de_DE:de:en_GB:en"

i removed the de parts
