hello
I have a few questions and I dont want to have a bunch of different threads so I'll put them all here if thats okay...
I just installed debian on my toshiba satelliite 5105-s501
it works pretty good - but i dont think its doing everything its supposed to
i think its not turning the fan on when its needed
and i cant get the monitor resolution right
and I cant turn on my wireless card
and i cant make my touch pad stop automatically clicking on whatever its cursor is hovering on
all of that stuff (except the touchpad) works when i boot up with a knoppix cd and I want to know how to make my computer boot like that all the time?
please?

About the touchpad I think there is a package called tpconfig which you can try.
