hello friends

I want to know where the Bookmark files are saved in Debian.Please let me know the location or in which folder actually bookmark files are saved.

if you mean the debian bookmarks package, it is installed in /usr/share/bookmarks.
just use your browser bookmarks utility to import the correct file( /usr/share/bookmarks/mozilla.html /usr/share/bookmarks/konqueror.xml....)

find ~/.programname/ -iname '*bookmark*'

I think for KDE they are located in your home directory in ~/.kde/share/apps/konqueror/bookmarks.xml. Notice that .kde is a hidden file so you have to go to the View menu and check "Show Hidden Files". From the Konsole you can access it with:

nano ~/.kde/share/apps/konqueror/bookmarks.xml

I hope this is the one, I never tested to delete it and see if the bookmarks are still available from the Konqueror menu, give it a try.
I don't know exactly for GNOME, but maybe it's in the home directory, in .firefox.
