Installing Etch without internet connection

Postby zenlunatic » 2006-06-04 21:32

Is it possible to install etch without a net connection, then download all the packages I need to get my wireless card working, put them on a usb drive, then get the wireless going in etch? I'm trying to find a way around getting a PCMCIA ethernet card because all I can find are 16bit ones.

You can do the install with CD No. 1. The CD is going to try very hard to make an internet connection. Be patient. It will eventually give up and continue with the installation.
