I'm trying to get SSI to work and found this thread.

viewtopic.php?t=5368

In this thread the admin is adviced to get the "a2enmod include", how is that done?

This is what I get when I search for the pakage:

apt-cache show a2enmod include
W: Unable to locate package a2enmod
W: Unable to locate package include
E: No packages found
titan:/# apt-cache show a2enmod
W: Unable to locate package a2enmod
E: No packages found

a2enmod isn't a debian package but is a utility that comes with apache2 -- at least it was for me. Chances are you already have it installed. Open a terminal, login as root and enter

Code: Select all
which a2enmod

if you get a response like "/usr/sbin/a2enmod" than that is good, you already have it.

then just enter

Code: Select all
a2enmod include

and you should get a confirmation that the SSI module is enabled. To have it take effect restart apache2...

Code: Select all
/etc/init.d/apache2 restart

Hope it works out.
