transparent terminal

I want to have transpatent terminal :)
can I do it with any terminal (I use now xterm) or I have to install special one?

Have to install a special one. Eterm I think has good transparency, Konsole has pseudo-transparency.

eterm is so outdated, all terminals have nothing but pseudo-transparency and it even lacks utf-8 powers, the only reason to download eterm would be to get a hold of the Esetroot program hehe, I suppose aterm is most similar to xterm but has the option for pseudo-trans, whether it's proper unicode i don't know

EDIT: I suppose I could tell you how I solve it, I have a black background in X, and my xterm's background is black, voila, instant transparency (:
