Firefox Menu Colors

Postby pbt1957 » 2006-07-23 17:22

In Firefox 1.0.4 on Debian Sarge the 'highlighted' menu colors are both (background/foreground) white making it invisible. Can someone tell me how to change these colors? This only shows up in Firefox that I've noticed, so am sure it is a Firefox setting. Thanks!

Consider using backports repositories to upgrade firefox to a more recent version.

I'll do that. However, changing the theme did fix the menu colors.

Try adding this to your userChrome.css:
Code: Select all
menuitem[_moz-menuactive="true"] {
  color: highlighttext !important;
  background-color: highlight !important;
}

menupopup > menu[_moz-menuactive="true"],
menupopup > menuitem[_moz-menuactive="true"],
popup > menu[_moz-menuactive="true"],
popup > menuitem[_moz-menuactive="true"] {
  background-color: highlight !important;
  color: highlighttext !important;
}

(works on SeaMonkey)
Debian GNU/Linux 3.1
