I am getting the following error when booting my system.
mount : / is busy
Cannot fsck root fs because it is not mounted read-only!
I have managed to mount the root fs read-only and also run a fsck -a on it, but nothing was wrong. The root fs is also mounted rw in the fstab.
Why does it show this error message?

Bootup mount issue
Bootup mount issue
I have now discovered that the error must relate to /dev/hdb that I am mounting. If I do a mount -a it mounts everything but gives me an EXT2 error saying the drive contains errors and fsck should be run. I have now run fsck and it said /dev/hdb was not cleanly unmounted..after fsck has finished I rebooted but the error still remains...
