unstable clean install vs unstable upgrade?

i am very sorry if this question look silly to ask.
i am wondering. i just manage to upgrade sarge to unstable..

what is the different between the clean install version and the unstable version upgraded
from sarge?

Well, as far as I know there is no installable version of unstable. The only way to get to it is by upgrading either from Sarge or Etch :)

(Unless you want to go for the distros that's *based* on unstable like Kanotix or Ubuntu...)
