Is there a 'How To' for remotely controlling a Debian server from a Windows XP Pro PC???

You could log in remotely using ssh, there are free ssh clients for windows. If you're debian server is behind a firewall, you'd have to open up port 22, the default ssh port.

You can try using putty to connect to debian server from windows. Putty offers Rlogin,ssh,telnet and RAW connections. I use this program to access my desktop from a laptop.
