I am curious. vPro hss made two posts, but his post count is only one. He did not pay for the premium membership? Or if a deleted post is re-instated the post count is lost into the abyss of electronic static?

Don't know the exact details, but yes, when a post is removed (including being moved to spam), the post is no longer "counted."
