Debian GNU/Hurd &/or Debian GNU/kFreeBSD Sections or Boards?

Would it be possible to create sub-boards, sections or what-not dedicated to the non-Linux kernel derivatives of Debian -- e.g. Debian GNU/Hurd or Debian GNU/kFreeBSD? My reasoning for this is because it would prevent questions regarding experimental releases from cluttering up other boards.

http://forums.debian.net/viewforum.php?f=19
and kFreeBSD is not experimental, but an official releas, no?
I am slightly annoyed by the miriads of threads about kFreeBSD and the Hurd too, though.

I am not sure why people keep asking for changes. The forum ninja's show up in february or march, once a year, ask what could be enhanced, and then vanish (again: for a year). I am not sure how many rights are given to the available clowns in the admin-panel (phpbb is very fine grained about it), but they often let us know they have to ask for it and don't miss to thank their master while mentioning that. If clown sounds to harsh for your ears, substitude it with loyal dogs.
Hope is the last vice to die, isn't it?

Well... there aren't any GNU/kFreeBSD or GNU/Hurd users on this forum that I know of...

To be honest I could probably run either one - might nuke and reinstall in fact - that way the forum has at least one user...

I've just installed Debian GNU/kFreeBSD on a spare 160GB HDD and have the following observations.

Positive aspects:
  • Installation worked just like any normal Debian GNU/Linux install which is definitely a plus
  • ZFS support during install
Negative aspects:
  • Nouveau driver support for my GeForce GTX 550 Ti is nowhere close to the level of support that Wheezy offers. I was left with 640x480 output :(
  • My system crashes every time I updated the foreground and background color variables for xterm in Openbox's obmenu. I am definitely submitting this to the bug reports.

Well because it's the FreeBSD kernel, there's no kernel mode setting and no nouveau there...

So it's the nv driver...

The nvidia proprietary driver does support FreeBSD, but not GNU/kFreeBSD
