Is there anyway to change your username, and if not is there anyway to delete your own account?

inanisxxii . . . You could ask a mod who has privileges to do that. Not many of those hang out here these days. Mostly it's spam nannies (in purple).

The only way to do that is contact a forum admin:
HOWTO contact forum moderators/admins
That is the best way to go about doing that. Please do not create a "sock puppet" account.

So now I am a "spam nannie" ?
But also, this is not true, there usually is a admin that checks in daily, at different times and performs the tasks , I or a moderators can not do, or are not authorized too do.
However, after you contact a admin, also please be patient, it may take a little while, I suppose that depends on how much time the admin has , when they are here and how many other things need to be done.

Its a good thing that users can not delete an account themselves. It would have led to a lot of people changing accounts frequently, for example after they have made a fool of themselves with a username, or misbehaved. We want people to be able to stand for everything that they write here.
