OPENDNS Blocking FDN

#1 Post by millpond »

I've noticed recently that OpenDNS has been blocking the forum. Apparently over some certificate nonsense.

I can get through on TOR, which apparently uses a different DNS service...

Or, by my ISP DNS without the VPN.

I use OpenDNS, and haven't noticed any problems.

I use opendns also, but didn't understand how my dns setting could block the forum? Wouldn;t the cert error be from the browser? I guess I would try another dns and see if the problem goes away...

It is hard to guess when the OP does not even give the exact error message, what it says exactly,...
Apparently over some certificate nonsense.
Pretty vague, maybe try asking: https://www.opendns.com/support/
The forum is fine, I have no problems connecting either, if it was me I would submit a ticket to opendns, and include better details then what were give here.
