In my user panel, I went to board preferences > edit posting defaults and found that the box notify me upon replies by default is already checked

yet, I don't recieve mail when I get new answers.

If you don't receive any emails from forum (not only notifications, try to restore the password, for example), then the issue is in this: http://forums.debian.net/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=149050

Thanks for replying to this thread. In fact, the last mail I got from the debian forums is from 2018

The problem about SPF seems to be at least this old

Asked a new password 15 minutes ago, still no e-mail. I guess case confirmed.
