Have something to say about forums.debian.net itself?

How 'bout a gaming forum? That would be sweet!

For now I'll post in Offtopic.

Although I'm not into games, that's an excellent idea! I'd love to read more about this.

I met several people who are into games and ask lots of questions about compatibility/portability.

For sure. I think every "gamer" out there is curious about gaming on Linux. Gaming on Debian makes a great stable platform. :)

Check out linuX-gamers for all things Linux gaming.

That's a cool website dren. The only web reference I saw so far was this:
http://www.opengl.org/applications/linux/games/

One good thing to discuss in that possible forum is the best video card. So far, I'm happy with nvidia's approach to Linux. I can't tell the same about ATI. I worked there and could see they don't care about Linux.

You worked at ATI? That's pretty cool.

I used to have an ATI card but I sold it because their Linux support was so bad at the time, even worse for Debian machines. I guess it's getting better, but I prefer Nvidia anyway.

Here's another resource for finding out what games have Linux ports. http://www.icculus.org/lgfaq/gamelist.php
